Kawale Police Women Network and its community policing branch in Lilongwe have engaged the masses on the need to strictly adhere to COVID - 19 protocols to disrupt the further spread of the pandemic.
Speaking during whistle stop road shows, Kawale Police Publicist Sergeant Mabvuto Phiri said the law enforcers will stop at nothing in ensuring that all COVID - 19 guidelines are followed.
According to a daily COVID - 19 update for Friday by the Ministry of Health, at least 29 people had died of the pandemic in the last 24 hours, with 848 others testing positive for the coronavirus
During the road shows, the officers also engaged the public on crime prevention, including raising awareness on the dangers of engaging in mob justice.
Among the townships that fall under Kawale Police Station are Biwi, Mchesi, Chipasula and areas 23, 24 and 44
